September 18 meeting results:
After a short business meeting we viewed a DVD on Aircraft electrical systems and wiring techniques. For those of us that enjoy the variety of tasks required in building and experimental aircraft, this was a treat.
August 21 meeting results:
PROGRAM: Our own president, Woody Harris, gave us an amusing blow
by blow accounting of his trip from Florida to the Nut Tree in a Zodiac 601. His
informative presentation included quips about the airports that they
visited, the weather, the 800+ mile travel days and the 41 mile travel
days. Woody explained how a three day trip wound up an 8 day trip
with two co-pilots and a bunch of exciting airplane problems.
Thanks for a great presentation of a journey gone bad to good to bad to
good.
July 18 meeting results
Jimmy Ferriera gave a very interesting and informative talk about his experiences flying aerial tankers and observation planes. Jimmy did a great job of outlining how a fire is attacked and what the roles of the participants are. Jimmy is a local pilot who started his career here at the Nut Tree Airport. His DVD presentation was cool. Some great video of his flying and california forest fire fighting. THANK JIMMY!

HUGE TURNOUT FOR MARCH MEETING!
About 38 people turned out for food and aviation topics on Tuesday evening at the Nut Tree Airport County building. After a short business meeting led by President Woody Harris, Rich Beardsly talked of his Reno Air Race experiences. A great program and a neat evening discussing what is cool, aviation.

Our webmaster (barely) has arranged to
have EAA1230 have it's own URL. Just go to
www.EAA1230.org and you will see
your website immediately. No more SolanoPilots.com. Links
remain for SPA and they are all sister sites in design. This is
just an opportunity for EAA to be autonomous. Go there and get
